FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Does bonding hurt?
No, the treatment is absolutely pain-free. There is no drilling; the jewelry is merely applied to the surface with a special, tooth-friendly composite.

2. How long does the tooth jewelry last? Depending on the tooth condition, care, and diet, the jewelry usually lasts several months to several years.

3. Does it damage the tooth enamel? Absolutely not. Since the tooth substance is not affected, your tooth enamel under and around the stone remains completely healthy.

4. Can I have the jewelry removed? Yes, at any time. The removal should be done professionally in a dental office. There, the stone will be removed and the area briefly polished – your tooth will look exactly as it did before.

5. Can I eat and brush my teeth normally? Yes. After a short waiting period of approximately 1 hour after the appointment, you can eat normally. Your usual oral hygiene (brushing teeth, professional cleaning) remains unchanged.

6. What happens if I swallow the stone? Don't worry. The stones (Swarovski/gold) are so small and biocompatible that they pass through the body naturally without causing harm.

7. Does this work on crowns or veneers? Unfortunately, no. The jewelry only adheres optimally to natural tooth enamel. We cannot guarantee durability on artificial surfaces such as crowns, bridges, or veneers.

8. How old do I have to be for a treatment? We treat from 16 years of age. If you are under 18, we require a written consent form from your guardians for the appointment.

9. What materials are used? I exclusively use high-quality, lead-free Swarovski & Preciosa crystals, as well as genuine gold motifs in 18k yellow or white gold.

10. What do I do if the stone falls off immediately? No stress! If the jewelry comes off within the first 7 days, we offer a one-time, free re-bonding as a service guarantee.
